Koji Onaka
Koji Onaka a key figure in the Japanese photographic scene began his career in 1982 as a freelancer and very early on affirmed his photographic style. His passion for photography comes from his discovery of Daido Moriyama’s Tales of Tono series. Stunned by the singularity of his eyes and the feeling of nostalgia emanating from the contrasted prints, he left his hometown of Nogata to join the Tokyo College of Photography where Moriyama taught.

Junku Nishimura
Junku Nishimura – Born in 1967 in a coal-mining village in Yamaguchi, western Japan, works as a freelance photographer and documents the urban sprawl of Japan and the people, revealing its generally hidden effects on people and their towns.

KURAMA
Kurama 暗間. (b. mid-1960s) lives and works between Europe and Asia. With academic backgrounds in both printmaking and geology, his artistic practice blends tactile process with conceptual depth. His photography delves into themes of social taboos, women’s sexual autonomy, and the pursuit of visual beauty—intertwined through a distinctive erotic lens that invites viewers into his visceral and poetic universe. Kurama primarily works with silver gelatin prints and serigraphy, emphasizing the materiality and texture of his imagery.
