Une exposition curatoriale entre patrimoine immatériel chinois et pratiques artistiques contemporaines internationales.
À l’occasion de la foire ArtShopping, organisée au Carrousel du Louvre, le projet curatorial L’INSTANT RENAISSANCE（瞬间·再生）, conçu par Between Paris, a été présenté au public.
Cette exposition réunit plusieurs artistes originaires de Chine, du Japon et du Brésil, et propose un dialogue entre photographie, peinture et artisanat traditionnel, autour des notions d’« INSTANT » et de « RENAISSANCE ».
Dans un contexte contemporain marqué par l’accélération des transformations — récits de guerre, mutations technologiques et développement de l’intelligence artificielle — l’expérience individuelle se trouve profondément redéfinie.
Les « instants », souvent imperceptibles, tendent à disparaître dans ce flux continu. Pourtant, ce sont précisément ces suspensions qui constituent le cœur de notre expérience sensible.
La « RENAISSANCE » n’est pas envisagée ici comme une rupture, mais comme un processus progressif à travers lequel l’individu, entre doute, affirmation et reconstruction, renouvelle son rapport à soi et au monde. En mettant en regard différentes pratiques artistiques, l’exposition invite le public à reconsidérer ces moments subtils où perception et émotion se rejoignent.

A curatorial exhibition between Chinese intangible heritage and international contemporary artistic practices
On the occasion of the ArtShopping fair, held at the Carrousel du Louvre, the curatorial project L’INSTANT RENAISSANCE (瞬间·再生), conceived by Between in Paris, was presented to the public.
This exhibition brings together several artists from China, Japan and Brazil, and opens a dialogue between photography, painting and traditional craftsmanship around the notions of “INSTANT” and “RENAISSANCE”.
In a contemporary context marked by the acceleration of transformations — war narratives, technological shifts and the development of artificial intelligence — individual experience is being profoundly redefined.
“Instants”, often imperceptible, tend to vanish within this continuous flow. Yet it is precisely these suspensions that form the core of our sensitive experience.
“RENAISSANCE” is not understood here as a rupture, but as a gradual process through which the individual — navigating doubt, affirmation and reconstruction — renews their relationship with themselves and with the world.
By bringing different artistic practices into dialogue, the exhibition invites the public to reconsider those subtle moments where perception and emotion converge.

Artistes
Lin Zhipeng
(Chine｜photographie)
Reconnu pour son langage visuel singulier, Lin Zhipeng (aka No.223) explore les relations intimes, le corps et les émotions, capturant des instants souvent implicites dans l’expérience de la jeunesse contemporaine.
KURAMA
(Japon｜photographie)
Le travail de Kurama se distingue par une esthétique à la fois subtile et retenue. Au-delà de la photographie argentique, il explore également des procédés alternatifs tels que la sérigraphie, construisant des espaces visuels empreints de tension et de silence.
Wei Deng
(Chine｜art de la sculpture sur feuille)
Héritier d’un savoir-faire traditionnel chinois, Deng Wei réinvente l’art de la sculpture sur feuille en lui insufflant une dimension contemporaine. Ses œuvres transforment la matière naturelle en formes délicates, où le temps et la mémoire deviennent visibles.
Gen Li
(États-Unis｜art visuel et médias)
Gen Li développe une pratique à la croisée de l’image et des médias numériques. Son travail interroge les transformations du langage visuel dans les environnements contemporains, à travers des dispositifs narratifs expérimentaux.
Wanderley Cabral
(Brésil｜peinture)
Né au Brésil et installé en France, Wanderley Cabral propose une œuvre marquée par une intensité chromatique et une expression émotionnelle directe. Son travail établit un dialogue entre héritage culturel et regard contemporain.
